TRAVEL ESSENTIALS FROM A MAXIMALIST ✈️
HOPPED OFF THE PLANE AT LAX

HOPPED OFF THE PLANE AT LAX ✌️
Let me just get this out of the way: I am not a carry on queen and never will be. 😜 Consider this blog a tell-all for all my girls (and guys) who like to be prepared for ✨ all the things ✨.
And in case you’re new - hi! 👋 I’m Reagan and my toxic trait is needing an accessory for every occasion. More importantly I will always be asking, “does this come in pink?” - anywho, this is my year of travel and I’ve rounded up all of my must haves for travel - near and far. Let’s get into it! ⬇️
LUGGAGE
🛒 BEIS CARRY ON $218 | BEIS MEDIUM CHECK IN ROLLER $308
Let’s talk essentials. I have tried just about every luggage brand out there (trendy and traditional) and I can confidently say my bags from BEIS are by far my favorite. Not only do I love their color selection (black? no thanks) but I feel like they’re ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation.
👀 What I love about my BEIS luggage:
Built in weight checker - as a chronic overpacker, this one is a gamechanger. The luggage features a red light on the handle that will illuminate when lifting the luggage if it is over 50 lbs. My only complaint is I do feel like it has a +/- 3 lbs margin of error. Regardless, gamechanging.
Cushiony handles - this sounds silly, but the handles on these bags feel luxe and I’m here for it.
Removable insert for more organization - while I typically opt from using the removable insert for more organization, I will say it’s nice to have the option especially if you’re a Marie Kondo kind of packer (iykyk).
The Color Selection - need I say more?
Durability - I am pretty rough on my bags and find these to be really easy to clean with a simple cloth and soap (or magic eraser if you’re feeling fancy). They are a hard shell but they’re not shiny/plastic-y looking if that makes sense.
Note: My bags are in the limited edition (and sadly, sold out) color Berry. They currently have shade “Atlas Pink” but keep checking because last summer they had multiple bright color offerings!
CARRY ON BAG
🛒 THE MINI WEEKEND $98 | THE REGULAR WEEKEND $108
We need to talk about the BEIS Weekender Bag. I know I’m starting to sound like a BEIS spokesperson, but this bag is actually THE BEST. I get SO many questions and compliments when I use it - I love it so much that I actually have it in both sizes - the mini weekend and the regular weekend.
Do I feel it’s necessary to have both sizes? Probably not. I use the mini weekend as my everyday gym bag (let’s be real I’m not going to the gym everyday lol) BUT I also used it before Matt and I moved in together as my overnight bag. 👏 When I tell you you can really stuff this bag (and all it’s hidden compartments) to the brim, I mean it.
The size difference in my opinion is really slight but I purchased both mostly so that I had a bag for on top of each of my luggage sizes - the carry on luggage works great with the MINI weekend bag and the larger luggage works best with the regular weekend bag (but the mini would work just fine as well).
💅 If you’re extra like me and want to decorate your bag, I recommend checking out The Fawn Doe (code REAGAN10 to save) - she makes bag clips/keychains and naturally, I had to put an Eras Tour themed chain on my bag. 🌈
EYE MASK
🛒 NODPOD BLUSH PINK $34
I have never been an eye mask girl especially because I’m fairly convinced eye masks give me acne but that’s a story for another day. Once I hopped on the weighted blanket train and discovered the brand NodPod, my life was changed forever (not to be dramatic).
Anywho, the NodPod weighted eye mask is quite literally.. a weighted blanket for your eyes. 😴 It may not be the most practical for use on the plane unless you’re in first class (go off, queen) but I would HIGHLY recommend this for hotel stays - especially if you’re a light sleeper and wake up with the sun.
You can get it off Amazon and no fear, it comes in a bunch of colors. I have turned my whole family on to the NodPod and I’m 99.9% sure you will love it too!
GOLI GUMMIES
🛒 GOLI ASHWAGANDA 60 COUNT GUMMIES $13
Honestly, I should do a whole blog post on how incredible these Goli calming gummies are. They’re made from Ashwaganda and if I’m being honest, I have no clue what that is 😅 BUT I have turned on so many of my friends to these gummies (one friend even gave up the green plant 🌱 because these worked just as well if not better for her).
I am chronically stressed at the airport and love that these help mitigate some of my anxiousness when navigating the travel stress. I also take these before social interactions and love that they don’t make me feel drowsy or loopy - just calm as a cucumber. 🥒
I always purchase them at Target but if you prefer Amazon go here!
STONEY CLOVER POUCHES
If you’ve ever explored purchasing a Stoney Clover bag, you know these cutie little bags do not come cheap. BUT the fact that they are customizable (give me all the pink, glitter and rainbows) gives me life and they are so durable.
If Stoney Clover bags aren’t in the budget right now I highly recommend joining some Stoney Clover resale Facebook groups such as this one. You can also find them listed on Poshmark! I know both of those options take the fun out of customizing your pouches, so I went ahead and made a folder on my Amazon storefront with a bunch of dupes that I found (you’re welcome). 😉
TOUCHLAND HAND SANITIZER
🛒 TOUCHLAND POWER MIST 3 PACK $30
Another somewhat essential purchase. 🤫 Airports are gross. Traveling is overwhelming and guess what? Your hands are dirty! Now, before you judge me for spending $10 (TEN DOLLARS, I know, I know) on hand sanitizer - hear me out. ⬇️
I’m a crossbody purse lover and there is nothing I hate more than playing a game of Jenga to make my purse zip. These hand sanitizes are compact, flat and tiny purse friendly. So there you have it - #girlmath on why $10 is justifiable. And to further my point - Amazon has value packs of Touchland so if you order in bulk you’ll be set for all of your upcoming travels. Yipee!
PILL ORGANIZER
🛒 TRAVEL PILL ORGANIZER $5.37
A new addition to my travel essentials - I picked up this pill organizer on Amazon recently for my copious amounts of Lactaid pills and Hum Flatter Me pills (highly recommend for anyone who struggles with bloat). It’s cute, it’s pink and it gets the job done! It also comes with this interesting little guitar pick to help open each compartment of the pill organizer so you don’t pop off a nail in the process. Clearly this was invented by a woman - love that for us. 🥹
READING LIGHT
🛒 LED NECK READING LIGHT $21.99
Any book worms out there? There is nothing I hate more than lighting up the plane like a Christmas tree on an evening flight because I want to turn on my overhead light. To avoid being * that girl * I opt to use this neck reading light situation. It’s pink, it charges via a cord and it doesn’t take up too much room.
This lives in my nightstand at home and I use it all the time. 10/10 recommend.
PORTABLE CHARGER
🛒 SMALL PORTABLE BATTERY CHARGER $14.99
Even if you have no plans of traveling any time soon, you need to pick up this portable charger. I have no clue what sort of magical potions this portable charger carries, but it works flawlessly and has saved me on more occasions than one. It worked wonderfully during the Eras Tour and I haven’t stopped using it since!
FACE CLEANSING PADS
🛒 FIRST AID BEAUTY FACIAL RADIANCE PADS $16.20
There is nothing I hate more than a greasy face after a day of traveling. For a mid-flight clean up I ALWAYS carry the First Aid Beauty cleansing pads. They make travel sizes as well and stay super moist in the container for a long time!
EVIAN FACE SPRITZER
🛒 EVIAN FACE SPRAY $8.50
Piggybacking off of my cleansing pad recommendation, to take it a step further I always throw in a travel size Evian water spritzer and it feels so refreshing. Plus, you'll kick off (or end) your travels with glowy, hydrated skin. Yes, please!
LIP OIL
🛒 JUVIAS PLACE MAGIC LIP OIL $10.00
The name says it all - this Juvia’s Place Magic Lip oil really is.. magic. I’ve talked about it 100x and I can’t get enough. It’s by far the most affordable lip oil on the market and it does wonders keeping my lips hydrated throughout al of my travels.
LAPTOP PUFF
🛒 ALL THINGS LILLY ANN LAPTOP PUFF $24
I just got a new laptop and was on the hunt for a case that wasn’t boring or grey. I love shopping small and am obsessed with the laptop puffs from this boutique! I got the pink one (shocker) and she gets the job done - keeping my laptop safe during all my travels!
TRAVEL WATER BOTTLE
🛒 HYDRAPEAK 40 OZ TUMBLER $24.95
Do I own a stanley? Of course. But let’s be real.. not practical for travel. I don’t want my straw exposed (especially on the plane, barf) and I stumbled upon these awesome tumblers at Marshalls of all places. I bought two - hot pink and light pink and switched the lids to make them feel more me. 😉 Lucky for you - I found them on Amazon!
BLISTER SAVERS
🛒 BLISTER CUSHIONS $11.99
If your travels are taking you somewhere that requires a lot of walking, these will save your feet. I can’t go to New York without them!
Hey kids, traveling is fun! (Pretend I said that as if I was Taylor Swift in the ME! music video.)
Thanks for checking out todays blog post - drop a comment and let me know where you’re traveling to next! ✈️
